Prayer For Sleep: Seeking Solace And Tranquility At Night
Dear Hashem, my loving Father,
I humbly approach Your presence, seeking solace and tranquility in this moment. Your Word in Psalm 3:5 assures me, saying, "I lie down and sleep; I wake again because Hashem sustains me." I long for Your comforting embrace as I prepare for a restful night's sleep.
Hashem, You are the source of peace and comfort. Your Word in Isaiah 26:3 promises, "You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts in you." I surrender my worries and anxieties to You, trusting that Your perfect peace will guard my heart and mind as I lay down to rest.
Father, I pray for restful sleep and divine comfort. Your Word in Psalm 4:8 reminds me, saying, "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Hashem, make me dwell in safety." I ask that You surround me with Your protective presence, granting me a peaceful repose throughout the night.
Hashem, I seek Your soothing touch and gentle care. Your Word in Psalm 91:1-2 assures me, saying, "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to Hashem, 'My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" I find refuge in You, my Heavenly Father, and I trust in Your loving embrace to provide comfort and security as I sleep.
Lord Yeshua, I thank You for being my ultimate source of comfort and rest. Your Word in Matthew 11:28-29 invites me, saying, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." I come to You, Yeshua, and I lay my burdens at Your feet, finding solace and peace in Your presence.
In Your precious name, Yeshua, I pray, believing that You will grant me heavenly repose, bringing comfort and peaceful sleep to my weary soul.
