Prayer For Sleep: Seeking God's Presence And Guidance While Resting
Dear Hashem, my Heavenly Father,
I come before You in this moment, seeking Your divine presence and guidance. Your Word in Psalm 4:8 reminds me, saying, "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Hashem, make me dwell in safety." I desire to experience the blessed sleep that comes from knowing Your peace and presence.
Hashem, You are the giver of rest and tranquility. Your Word in Psalm 127:2 says, "It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep." I surrender my anxieties and worries to You, knowing that You are the one who grants peaceful sleep to Your beloved.
Father, I pray for quiet and peaceful sleep, free from disturbances and anxieties. Your Word in Proverbs 3:24 assures me, saying, "If you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet." I ask that You calm my heart and mind, removing any fear or restlessness, so that I may experience the sweetness of undisturbed sleep.
Hashem, I pray for protection and safety during my sleep. Your Word in Psalm 121:3-4 declares, "He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep." I trust in Your constant watchful presence, knowing that You never sleep nor slumber, and that You will guard me throughout the night.
Lord Yeshua, I thank You for being my ultimate source of peace and rest. Your Word in Matthew 11:28-29 invites me, saying, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." I come to You, Yeshua, and I lay my burdens at Your feet, finding rest and peace in Your loving arms.
In Your holy name, Yeshua, I pray, believing that You will grant me blessed sleep and fill my nights with quiet and peaceful rest.
