Prayer For Sleep: Seeking God's Guidance Through The Night And Requesting Him For Restful Slumber
Dear Hashem,
As I prepare to enter the realm of sleep and find rest in the depths of the night, I come before you in prayer, seeking your serenity and peace. In the Book of Psalms, chapter 4, verse 8, it is written:
"In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Hashem, make me dwell in safety."
Hashem, I acknowledge that it is you alone who provides safety and peace during my nightly rest. I cast aside all worries, anxieties, and burdens, trusting in your divine protection to bring me serenity as I surrender to sleep.
In the Book of Proverbs, chapter 19, verse 23, it is written:
"The fear of Hashem leads to life, and whoever has it rests satisfied; he will not be visited by harm."
Hashem, I choose to fear you and honor your name. I trust that as I rest in your presence, I will be satisfied and protected from any harm that may seek to disturb my sleep. Grant me the assurance that your loving care will surround me throughout the night.
Yeshua, I call upon your name and your presence, for you are the Good Shepherd who watches over your flock. In the Book of Psalms, chapter 121, verses 3-4, it is written:
"He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep."
Yeshua, I find comfort in knowing that you never sleep or slumber. I entrust myself into your care, knowing that you are constantly vigilant and attentive to my needs. Guard my sleep, O Lord, and grant me peaceful rest under the shadow of your wings.
Thank you, Hashem, for your unfailing love and the peace that you provide. I surrender myself to your watchful eye, knowing that you will guide me through the night and grant me a restful sleep.
