Night's Embrace: A Prayer For Peaceful Slumber And Sleep
Dear Hashem,
As I prepare to enter the realm of slumber and surrender to the embrace of the night, I come before you in prayer, seeking your peace and tranquility. In the Book of Psalms, chapter 127, verse 2, it is written:
"It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep."
Hashem, I acknowledge that it is you who grants sleep to your beloved. I cast aside all anxieties, worries, and toils, trusting in your loving provision to bring me peaceful slumber as I enter the night's embrace.
In the Book of Proverbs, chapter 3, verses 24-26, it is written:
"If you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
Do not be afraid of sudden terror or of the ruin of the wicked, when it comes,
for Hashem will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught."
Hashem, I seek your protection and confidence as I surrender to sleep. May my rest be sweet and undisturbed, free from fear and sudden terrors. Keep me safe from the snares of the wicked and grant me peaceful sleep through your loving care.
Yeshua, I call upon your name and your presence, for you are the Prince of Peace. In the Book of Isaiah, chapter 26, verse 3, it is written:
"You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you."
Yeshua, I fix my mind on you and trust in your unfailing love. Keep me in perfect peace as I enter the realm of slumber. Guard my thoughts and dreams, so that they may be filled with your peace and grace.
Thank you, Hashem, for your abundant love and the peace that you offer. I surrender myself to your care, knowing that you will guide me through the night and grant me a restful sleep.
In the precious name of Yeshua, I pray. Amen.
