Prayer For Sleep: Seeking God's Peace And Tranquility As You Rest Your Weary Body
Dear Hashem,
As I prepare to rest my weary body and surrender to the embrace of sleep, I come before you in prayer, seeking your peace and tranquility. In the Book of Psalms, chapter 4, verse 8, it is written:
"In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Hashem, make me dwell in safety."
Hashem, I acknowledge that it is you alone who can grant me true peace and safety as I lay down to rest. I cast aside all anxieties, worries, and troubles, trusting in your loving presence to surround me and bring calm to my heart.
In the Book of Isaiah, chapter 32, verse 18, it is written:
"My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest."
Hashem, I long for a tranquil night's sleep, free from disturbances and worries. I ask that you create a peaceful dwelling place within me, where I can find solace and rest. Grant me the assurance of your loving protection, knowing that I am safe in your hands.
Yeshua, I seek your name and your presence, for you are the source of true peace. In the Book of John, chapter 14, verse 27, it is written:
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
Yeshua, I ask for your peace to fill my heart and mind as I prepare for sleep. May your gentle presence calm any anxieties or fears that may try to trouble me. Help me to release all burdens and find rest in your loving arms.
Thank you, Hashem, for your unfailing love and the peace that you offer. I surrender myself to your care, knowing that you will guide me through the night and grant me a restful sleep.
