Prayer Of Thanksgiving For Yeshua’s Defense And Protection
Blessed are You, Adonai, my God, King of the universe, who watches over me day and night. I come before You with a heart overflowing with gratitude, recognizing the many ways You have protected and defended me throughout my life. Your faithfulness knows no bounds, and today, I want to specifically thank You for the defense and protection I receive through Yeshua and His precious blood.
As I reflect on Your Word, I am reminded of the profound truth found in the book of Exodus, where You declared, “When I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you” (Exodus 12:13). Thank You, Lord, for the blood of Yeshua, the true Passover Lamb, whose sacrifice covers me and shields me from judgment. I stand in awe of the grace that allows me to be spared from the consequences of sin because of His atoning work.
In the book of Psalms, it is written, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1). Yeshua, through Your blood, You have become my light and salvation. When darkness surrounds me, I find comfort in knowing that You are my protector. I choose not to fear, for You are with me, guiding and defending me in every battle I face.
I turn to the words of Isaiah, who proclaimed, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn” (Isaiah 54:17). I am grateful that, through Your blood, I am defended against the schemes of the enemy. Your sacrifice provides me with the assurance that I am more than a conqueror, and I can stand firm in faith, knowing that You fight my battles.
Thank You, Lord, for the promise found in Psalm 91: “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty” (Psalm 91:1). In Yeshua, I find my refuge and safety. Your blood creates a barrier around me, allowing me to dwell in the secret place of Your presence, where I am shielded from harm and enveloped in Your love.
As I meditate on the words of Zechariah, “And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced” (Zechariah 12:10), I am reminded of the depth of Your sacrifice. Yeshua, You were pierced for my transgressions, and through Your blood, I have been granted forgiveness and protection. Thank You for enduring the pain for my sake, allowing me to be reconciled to the Father.
In my times of trouble, I find solace in the assurance of Psalm 46, which declares, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1). Yeshua, You are my ever-present help. Your blood not only protects me from external threats but also strengthens me internally. I can face any challenge with confidence, knowing that You are by my side, ready to defend and support me.
I recall the words of the prophet Isaiah: “When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him” (Isaiah 59:19). Thank You, Yeshua, for being that standard for me. Your blood raises a barrier against the enemy’s attacks, ensuring that I am safeguarded in the midst of trials. I trust in Your power to protect me and to deliver me from all forms of evil.
As I reflect on the covenant You established with Your people, I remember the significance of the blood in that covenant. In Leviticus, we read, “For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul” (Leviticus 17:11). I am eternally grateful for the life-giving blood of Yeshua, which atones for my sins and secures my place in Your family. This blood serves as my defense, providing me with the assurance of eternal life and protection from condemnation.
In the book of Micah, we are reminded, “Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger forever, because he delighteth in mercy” (Micah 7:18). Thank You, Lord, for Your mercy that flows from the sacrifice of Yeshua. His blood covers my iniquities, allowing me to stand before You without fear. I rejoice in Your lovingkindness and the protection it brings.
As I conclude this prayer, I lift my heart in thanksgiving for Yeshua, who defends and protects me with His blood. I am reminded that I am safe in His arms, shielded from all that seeks to harm me. May I live in the light of this truth, sharing the message of Your grace and salvation with others.
In Yeshua's name, I pray. Amen.
