Prayer For Rebuking The Demon Of Abuse

Prayer For Rebuking The Demon Of Abuse

Avinu Malkeinu, my Father in Heaven, I come before You today with a heavy heart, burdened by the reality of abuse that affects so many in our world. I recognize that abuse takes many forms—physical, emotional, and spiritual—and it is a tool of the enemy designed to inflict pain and suffering. I seek Your mighty hand to rebuke the demon of abuse that seeks to harm Your children and disrupt the beauty of Your creation.

HaShem, I call upon Your holy name, for You are the God of justice and healing. Your Word in Psalm 34:18 assures us, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” I pray for all those who have been broken by abuse, that they may feel Your comforting presence surrounding them. May Your nearness bring them solace and strength as they navigate the painful aftermath of their suffering.

I invoke the power of Yeshua's blood, the ultimate shield that protects us from all forms of evil. I ask that Your precious blood cover every victim of abuse, shielding them from the lies and torment of the enemy. In Psalm 91:10, it is written, “No evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent.” I claim this promise for those who have been affected by abuse, asking for Your divine protection and restoration in their lives.

I pray for the fire of God to fall upon us, consuming all that is not of You and igniting a passion for justice and healing. Let this holy fire burn away the chains of abuse and oppression that have bound Your children. In Isaiah 61:1, it is proclaimed, “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.” I ask that You empower us to be agents of Your healing and liberation, bringing hope to those who feel trapped in despair.

Father, I bring before You those who have suffered at the hands of their abusers. Heal their wounds, both seen and unseen, and help them to find refuge in Your love. In Jeremiah 30:17, You promise, “For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares HaShem.” I pray that this promise would resonate deeply within their hearts, bringing them comfort and assurance of Your restorative power.

As we seek to rebuke this demon of abuse, let Your name be glorified in our actions and our words. May we be a community that stands against injustice and advocates for the voiceless. In Proverbs 31:8-9, it is written, “Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy.” Empower us to speak out against abuse and to protect those who are vulnerable.

In this moment, I also ask that You fill us with the peace that surpasses all understanding, which guards our hearts and minds in Yeshua. Help us to remember that we are called to be vessels of Your love and healing in a world that often perpetuates pain. Remind us that our identity is found in You, and that we are to be instruments of Your grace and compassion.

I pray all of this in the powerful and precious name of Yeshua, our Messiah and Redeemer. Amen.
