Prayer For Sleep: Seeking Undisturbed Rest During The Night

Heavenly Father, in the name of Yeshua, I come before You with a heart filled with gratitude and awe. I offer this prayer with the deep desire for Your glory to be revealed through Jesus. May this prayer bring divine peace, transformation, and a profound encounter with You as we rest in Your presence.

HaShem, the Eternal One, I acknowledge Your infinite power and holiness. I am humbled by Your greatness and Your unwavering love for me. As I approach Your throne of grace, I cover myself and all those who join me in prayer with the shield of Yeshua's precious blood. Through His sacrificial love, we are cleansed, redeemed, and made whole.

In Your timeless Word, the Tanakh, I find solace and guidance. In Psalm 4:8, it is written, "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for You alone, HaShem, make me dwell in safety." Father, I invite Your divine peace to encompass me as I lay down to rest. May Your presence surround me like a protective shield, guarding me from any fear or anxiety that may seek to disturb my sleep.

As I surrender to the tranquility of the night, I invite the fire of Your Spirit to ignite within me. Let Your holy fire consume any darkness, doubt, or burdens that weigh heavy on my heart. In Jeremiah 20:9, it is written, "But if I say, 'I will not mention His word or speak anymore in His name,' His word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot." Father, ignite the flame of Your Word within me, that it may burn brightly, illuminating my path and purifying my soul.

Above all, Father, I pray that through my sleep and dreams, You are glorified. May my rest be a testament to Your faithfulness and love. May the peace I experience during sleep be a source of hope and encouragement to others, drawing them closer to You. In Matthew 5:16, Yeshua declared, "Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

In the name of Yeshua, my Savior and Redeemer, I conclude this prayer. May Your name be exalted and glorified through Jesus. Amen and amen.
